Trail Overview
This easy two-track trail takes you along the edge of the valley and to the mud water springs. There are lots of Burros in the area and even a falcon. The Mud Springs are just that, some freshwater springs that bubble up by seemingly the only trees in the area in a few muddy puddles. There is also another spring oasis closer to the north end of the trial. The trail is easy with lots of room for oncoming traffic to pass. There are even a few flat dispersed camping spots scattered about 3 bars LTE Verizon service. It's the desert, so pack accordingly, bring lots of water, watch for rattlesnakes and be aware of sharp rocks that may puncture your tires. The town of Beatty is nearby for fuel, groceries, and restaurants.
