Trail Overview

This is a short connector trail to connect Wheeler Pass Road to several other designated single-track trails in the Pahrump Riding Area. This trail starts as road width but narrows as it enters a wash, and is shared use with horseback riders. It's mostly a gravel surface on top of dirt and winds through pine trees and Joshua trees. The trail is very scenic, with desert cactus plants, neat dirt walls in the wash, and distant views of snow-capped peaks in the surrounding mountains in the winter. There are no obstacles and no difficult features on the trail. Although the trails in the area are typically easy to follow, none of the trails are marked, so it's best to have GPS tracks.

Difficulty

The trail is consistently easy with no significant obstacles.
