Trail Overview
Skinny Canyon is an intermediate trail in the Glade Run Recreation Area that starts from the north in a sand wash. It's wide to start but narrows up as you go south. It's only a third of a mile but leads to one of the most extreme obstacles in the recreation area, which is Beaver Falls. It comes up to a narrow spot in the wash between the red rock wall and some trees with a bigger boulder in the sand that you'll likely have to put a wheel on. The boulder is about a foot and a half tall. It comes up to a second ledge that is at the lowest point a foot tall but slopes higher on the other side. It's like a ramp right up the face of the rock, but it's followed by a split line obstacle; either go high right up a loose shelfy ledge, or go low left and have to put your tires over a couple boulders. Once you get to the Beaver Falls/Bear Trail loop, you can bail out to the west.
