Trail Overview
This segment of ATV trail turns southwest from the Barton Arroyo, and goes straight over the flat ground, following an access road for the natural gas line. It's designated for ATVs and crosses several other roads, trails, and wash intersections during its route. It's easy and fast because it's really wide, straight, and flat, although it does have some ruts and uneven sections. It goes past several natural gas wells, between big juniper trees and pinyon bushes. Once you come up to the Johnson Arroyo, which is a big sandy wash, you can continue right or left into the wash.
