Trail Overview
Rabbit Run is a quick single-track trail that starts across the road from the Powerline Trail and gains 300 feet as it climbs to the top of a high desert hill in the Cibola National Forest. It has a couple of rocky switchbacks in order to get on top of the hill. There are a couple of blunt rock ledge stair-steps along the way, and it's a bit shelfy at times. The obstacles on this trail are of moderate difficulty because they aren't super big or steep and often have an easier line to choose from. The north end of Rabbit Run is at a dirt road that you can take to connect to the Middle and Cedro trails, which are both a bit easier. The nearest staging area to this trail is the Cedro Trailhead, which has space for several vehicles.
