Trail Overview
Summit Gulch (GH-74) is a scenic, narrow, rocky trail that is frequented by off-highway vehicles such as dirt bikes and SxSs in Breckenridge, Colorado. The trail has several rollers that are exciting to drive over on dirt bikes and short-wheel-base vehicles. This may not be suitable for longer wheel-base vehicles. The trail is surrounded by tall pine trees and is home to several birds that you can hear sing. There is a narrow, sharp turn section where there is an old, abandoned water mill that is slightly visible from the trail. Summit Gulch has seasonal closures and is only open from May 21 - November 22. There are no visible campsites and no available toilets on the trail.
