Trail Overview

This trail is designated for vehicles 50" or less but has become narrow and exposed over time, so it isn't ideal for ATVs. It's hardly wide enough for an ATV in many spots and probably doesn't get ridden by ATVs much because it's the only ATV trail in a system of technical dirt bike trails. It side-hills along the edge of the mountainside, with really narrow and exposed spots. Some spots are tighter between the scrub oak, and ATVs would be whipped by the branches closely lining the trail. The trail has become off-camber, with one side lower than the other, since dirt bikes mainly use it. It would be pretty dangerous for an ATV in spots because it's too narrow; they could roll over the side of the mountain. It's easy enough for dirt bikes, except for the exposure. The trail is smooth with no significant rock obstacles, but there are just narrow exposed spots. The most comprehensive and most accessibaccessiblere near the staging area, but it gets narrower as it goes northwest.

Difficulty

This is an intermediate trail due to extreme exposure in spots as it side-hills across the mountain. The trail itself is pretty smooth with not many rocks or roots. It also goes through a burn area, so there is potential for new downfall.
