Trail Overview

H1447 is a very gradual and easy ATV route for 2.2 miles. It is accessed on the north end through a rocky sand wash road and connects to another primitive BLM road on the south end. The trail is decently wide, meandering between the scrub oak and pinyon pine trees, with lots of scraggly bushes and cactus. It climbs up a gradual slope on the edge of a mountainside, with small loose rocks. Expect a bit of rutting and erosion, but overall it's a pretty smooth route. You get far views of hills as the trail is pretty wide open between the trees.
