Trail Overview
Rocklane Washout is an unmaintained trail that is one lane and rocky. There are mineshafts that have been fenced off along this trail, but please be aware if you do venture out of your vehicle, that this area has numerous unmarked and unmaintained mines. Caution is urged. The trail itself has lots of erosion and water damage, as this area of the Arizona desert is acutely shaped by monsoon season and moisture events. There are sections of wash crossings and erosion that sport off-camber sections, some with steep entrances and exits. The mapped trail was terminated at a washout section that demands longer travel and larger tires than what was on the vehicle. It's important to note if you do make it through that section, the trail does continue and connects with the main trail to the North.

Difficulty
This trail is unmaintained and has many wash crossings, erosion, washouts, and water damage sections - some with off-camber features. The trail continues past where it was mapped and was confirmed visually. A larger tire vehicle with longer travel could continue the trail and reconnect with the main trail to the North.
