Trail Overview
This is an offshoot of the Wycliffe Cherry Creek Trail. You can connect up to Highway 95A, or do a loop around McGinty Lake and head back towards other trails. McGinty Lake is great in the winter for ice fishing and skating, and in the summer is a wonderful place to take dogs for hikes and swims. There are a lot of hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing trails throughout the area.
Difficulty
This trail is very rutted out with several muddy holes that stay very rutted in the summer. In the summer the snow can get fairly deep, or packed down and icy. There is one hill climb that could become very slick in ideal conditions.
