Trail Overview
This route is the longer, more adventurous way to Brewster Lake. It follows a logging road that stretches through multiple stages of forest regrowth, from recent cutblocks to mature timber. The route is maintained in sections when others are not. You can expect fallen trees, potholes, and wildlife. Best suited for slow travel. The sandy beach is the big attraction at this site - great for swimming. Easy to launch a small boat or canoe and explore the rest of Brewster Lake. This site is located along the Sayward Forest Canoe Route. Please pack out what you pack in, as there are no garbage disposal services at Brewster Lake. This is a seasonal paid campsite. Fees apply from May 15 to September 1st. $18, cash only, per night.

Difficulty
This route would get a Rating 1, but there is a short section that has been industrially rerouted and requires 4WD. In the wet season, expect the mud to be a foot deep.
