Trail Overview
This starts as a nice single vehicle wide trail that meanders to the eastern edge of the Pole Mountain area. There are several very nice dispersed camping spots along the way. As you venture farther and cross the cattle guard, the trail does have some rough spots with small rock ledges and ruts in the road to navigate. But any 4WD vehicle should be able to handle it with ease. There is a beautiful valley to the north of the trail that offers amazing views as you hike through it. Beware that in spring and after a good rain, the trail becomes very muddy, and there will be many mud holes to cross that fill up with water. The trail is closed annually from February 1st to Memorial Day weekend.

Difficulty
The trail is single vehicle wide. When dry, the trail is very easy, but after a good rain, there will be multiple spots with standing water to navigate.
