Paved road from staging to Rattlesnake Rd turnoff, then gravel and two-track road around the route, until the final paved segment of Scatter Creek Rd back to the staging area. Some portions of the route are rough road, rocky in spots, but easily negotiated. Easy route to drive for OHV's.

Access Description

From Republic, drive south nearly 7 miles on Hwy 21 to Scatter Creek Rd. Turn right on Scatter Creek, proceed another 5.7 miles, turning right into FS Rd #500 (Old Scatter Creek Rd) parking area. This is a large triangular shaped intersection. From the parking area, proceed back to paved road and turn east. Proceed about 3/4 mile, look for Rattlesnake Rd (Fs Rd #5320. Follow route as depicted.
