Trail Overview
Gravel-based forest road that provides dispersed camping and good sunset views of the surrounding ridges. The trail is overall smooth with minor ruts and wash; however, there are downed trees along the entire trail. Some appear to have been there for Long periods and have been driven over, and many more have been cleared away enough to drive a standard 4x4 vehicle through. There are some dispersed campsites along the trail, but the trail follows and hooks around a ridge, making fallen trees the norm in this densely forested area. As you travel this trail, it is mostly one lane with ledges and areas to pass other vehicles. Cellphone service was not good, so downloading the offline map is a good practice. There are no amenities or other points of interest besides camping, so bring everything you need.
