Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road with minor ruts and wash. Most of the trail is narrow, one vehicle wide, two-track with places to pass. The trail gradually climbs approximately 800 feet in elevation and has switchbacks and ledges with drop-offs. You will get views of the surrounding ridges and peaks, and there are many dispersed camping pull-offs. The trail dead ends at a campsite with a pre-existing fire ring. Cell phone service was weak, but you could send an occasional message. Travel with all needed supplies, as you are approximately an hour from the nearest services or supplies, which are found in Kettle Falls. Any vehicle type should be able to traverse this trail.
