Trail Overview
The C-8000 Trail serves as a popular access route into and out of Capitol Forest from the east side and is well-suited for a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Open year-round, the trail can be enjoyed in all seasons, including winter when snow adds to the experience. The road is wide and well-groomed, making it an approachable option for riders and drivers of varying skill levels. Along the route, several pullouts provide scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley below, offering great opportunities for photos and rest stops.
