Trail Overview
This short segment of single track starts on the west end at the Green River Cutoff Road at a pinch point for the designated route. It begins as a wide path through a flat desert valley. It dips in and out of ravines and big washouts, with significant ruts through the trail, which is evidence that this terrain constantly changes conditions based on water runoff. It climbs the hillside of the bluff, then descends back down, and continuously goes up and down the rocky dirt hills. It rides through ravines and around the hillsides. It's a pretty barren desert terrain with rocky desert mesas, pinyon bushes, and lots of loose rocks in the trail. It's a mix of sand and dirt, with flat slabs of slickrock. A few sections have small rock ledges that are less than a foot tall and some rockier climbs. It accesses the north end of Odd's Trail, one of the area's more challenging trails.
