Trail Overview
The trail travels from US-20 to Island and Link Lakes through a variety of forests of scrub and young pines and occasional patches of old mature pines. The trail is mostly one vehicle wide with occasional opportunities to pull over every 1/4 mile or so. There are a few dispersed campsites near each of the lakes. Visiting in late June, there were a minimal amount of misquotes and insects.

Difficulty
The trail has occasional small rocks 2-6" with one larger 12" rock obstacle along the trail to Island Lake. A full-sized vehicle will likely need to drive through some brush and limbs that will be in contact with the vehicle.
