Trail Overview
This trail is well-kept and provides an easy shortcut onto Kirk Road from Silver Lake Road. It is easily completable in 4WD vehicles and most 2WD vehicles as well. Although this trail is very smooth, it does contain skinny sections in which only 1 vehicle can pass. Offering views of the not-so-distant wildlife refuge, this road is perfect if you are looking for a smooth picnic trail to get out into the woods. There is active logging in the area, so it is best to adventure here during the weekends, or carry a CB radio if possible on weekdays. This can connect to Wocus Bay Road, which runs next to the wildlife refuge, and makes for a perfect day out in nature.
