I was glad I went in via Meaderboro Rd end, most of the trail is fairly tame but the mid section has a lot of rocks. 4Lo and slow. It was fun though it was a good ride to learn the capability of the Jeep. Definitely need a lift and big tires anything else you won't make it over the drop offs when going over the rocks

This trail needs to be revised to only be the Clapp road section. The rating should be revised as well. This quickly went from a 2-3 to a 7-10 rating. I had to turn around shortly after the mud-hole in my photos due to the sudden change to steep rock crawling that required a well picked line and a possible safety winch to prevent falling back down the hill. I run 32" MT Baja Boss tires and that hole was up to my front bumper. It was wet and tires were slipping a lot on the now bedrock trail. Even at 25 psi still had traction issues due to the wet. Travel this with extreme caution unless you are running 35's and have a winch and a good spotter, and then still be mindful. This trail is deceiving and you can get into a bad situation quickly in the rock section.

so the reviews I read on this was misleading. so is the length. this was a normal dirt road that I would not even call a class 6 for most of the ride. houses all over the place. day to day traffic. buy then where you get off from north barnsted rd is where it gets good. I would not call this section green. blue mabe even black I'm some spots. I would have a spotter. I would also shorten this trail to just that section. the rest was a joke.
