Trail Overview
An amazing in-and-out trip following the wild river along a seasonally closed in the winter. Lots of pull-off spots to enjoy the scenic views of the river and gorge. The road dead ends at a wilderness remote campground managed by the White Mountains National Forrest. There are a lot of hiking trailheads on the sides of the road.
