Trail Overview
Camp Valley Loop is a scenic 46-mile lollipop route that starts and ends at Spring Valley State Park Campground. This trail delivers classic Great Basin riding with wide-open valleys, rolling sagebrush hills, long ridgelines, and a remote loop around Camp Valley that feels far removed from highways and crowds. The ride begins with an out-and-back segment heading north from the campground before branching into a wide loop around Camp Valley. The terrain gradually transitions from graded dirt to rougher two-track, offering enough variation to keep things interesting without becoming extreme. This is a perfect trail for riders looking for big views, solitude, and a full half-day adventure without technical rock crawling.

Difficulty
The majority of the trail consists of graded county dirt road near the start, two-track through sagebrush, sections of loose gravel and embedded rock with occasional wash crossings and mild ruts and erosion in spots. After heavy rain or snow, portions of the valley floor can become slick and muddy.
