Trail Overview

This trail is accessed from Tomahawk Trail and follows a narrow two-track route that winds through forested terrain, with a series of ascents and descents along the way. The trail passes through scenic woodland and eventually intersects with Snake River Spur D. Beyond this junction, it continues toward a large quarry clearing, where the route briefly widens before narrowing again at a well-used curve. Past this point, the trail becomes less frequently traveled, with rougher conditions that include muddy patches, rocks, and sections that can be slippery, especially after rain. As the trail continues, it appears to carry on straight, but the established road effectively ends, and there is no signage to indicate the transition. Many drivers unknowingly follow the remaining track, which becomes ATV-only, with no opportunity to turn around once committed. This lack of signage can make navigation difficult. Camping may be possible at the quarry clearing near the beginning of the trail. However, the rest of the trail offers no formal campsites and lacks amenities such as potable water, trash bins, or restrooms. Cell phone coverage may be limited or unavailable.

Difficulty

The trail is maintained but can develop light overgrowth between trims, especially in the summer months. Commonly used by local OHV traffic, the path remains visible and passable, though branches and low brush may occasionally encroach.
