Trail Overview
The surface is well-maintained and alternates between single and two-vehicle widths, though it can feel narrow in certain sections. Vegetation crowds the edges in many places, giving the impression of being overgrown, but it does not leave pinstripes on vehicles. Several smaller trails branch off the main route and lead toward the water, some of which are very overgrown and best suited to lighter traffic. Near the end of the trail, close to a school, another very overgrown spur can be found. The route passes through a mix of residential areas, with some homes that are well-kept and others that appear less maintained. Because the trail runs through these neighborhoods, it is important to drive slowly and watch for local traffic. The presence of houses near the water also increases the likelihood of encountering residents on the road. The trail itself does not offer formal camping opportunities and lacks facilities such as trash disposal or water access. Cell service may be unreliable in parts of the route.
