Trail Overview
The trail is narrow and overgrown in places, with a rocky and uneven surface that makes for a slow and somewhat bumpy ride. Despite its condition, the trail remains passable, with no major obstructions along the way. The route runs between a river and a lake, offering a scenic drive through dense forest with glimpses of water on either side. Near the end of the trail, there is a small clearing with a basic fire ring and access to the lake, making it a pleasant place to stop and take in the surroundings. We thought we caught a whiff of Bigfoot as we meandered down to the clearing. While the trail has a lot of character and provides a sense of solitude, it does not feature any formal campsites and lacks amenities such as potable water, trash bins, or restrooms. Cell service in the area may be spotty or completely unavailable.
