Trail Overview
This trail starts at a corner where the Moose and Pine hiking trails are located. The surface is wide and well-maintained, suitable for two vehicles, and follows a mostly straight course. Some areas may be slightly slippery, so caution is advised, especially when sharing the road with local traffic. The landscape is a mix of open fields and forest, and the route provides access to Beltrami Island State Park as well as the Pine and Prairie Birding Trail. This section ends at private property, where further travel is not permitted. An additional section of 500th Road South does not connect to the first.
