Trail Overview

Fixer Road is another section of the Daniel Boone Backwood Byway. This trail has a creek crossing, a creek bed section and some mud. It is very scenic and ties in with a few other trails in the area. You will see oil wells on the sides of the trail.

A short distance from 1036, Fixer Road has a culvert that is washed out pretty bad in a downhill section. Riding downhill from 1036 to Larison would be easy using caution in a higher clearance vehicle, but running it uphill from Larison would present a challenge in this one particular spot. The remainder of the trail would be rated 1-2. The attached pictures are looking uphill at the washout.

Some steep parts at the beginning. Most of the trail was pretty simple though with great views.
