Trail Overview
Barnes Buck Road in the Daniel Boone National Forest is a blast from the past! As you navigate off of Kentucky Route 1209, you will encounter a gradual hill climb up to the top of the ridge, where you continue the trail through beautiful Kentucky landscapes and astonishing views. This trail offers off-camber obstacles, off-camber mud pits, and a few rock climb obstacles. You will notice a bypass on the track around a very deep mud hole. I have seen this hole swallow a 2-door Jeep lifted 3.5 inches on 37-inch tires. Tread lightly! This is a great trail for anyone who is starting to get into some tougher trails, and it is easily navigable. There are many other trails in this area, such as Pistol Creek, Wild Dog, and the KAT hard 2 section. A great set of combination trails!

Difficulty
Not too many technical obstacles. There is a mudhole midway through the trail; enter at your own risk. The rock climb has a difficult line (left side) and an easier line (right side). Travel with care and be safe!
