Trail Overview
This out-and-back trail, typical of those in the Chattahoochee National Forest, follows a mostly gravel road with occasional dirt and muddy sections. While generally maintained, drivers should be prepared for occasional ruts and minor washouts. The route alternates between two-lane and single-lane segments, with multiple pull-off areas for passing, making it suitable for most high-clearance vehicles. Cell service is minimal to nonexistent, so plan accordingly. Please note that there are several private residences and properties along the route leading into the National Forest--do not enter or disturb any of these areas.
