Trail Overview

This out-and-back trail is tucked away within the Oconee National Forest, offering a quiet and somewhat secluded experience for those who enjoy exploring less-traveled paths. The route itself is a narrow, single-lane gravel trail, flanked by tall, overgrown grass along both sides and even sprouting through the middle, giving it a rustic and untouched feel. At the end of the trail, visitors will find a spacious clearing that could serve as a potential site for dispersed camping. However, campers should be aware that this open area also contains a small cemetery with graves dating back to the mid-1800s, which adds a unique, though possibly eerie, historical atmosphere to the location.
