Trail Overview
This trail is a continuation of Rock Garden, mostly being a fast and flowing descent through dense forest, dropping almost 800 feet in elevation over 3 miles. The trail drops steeply at first with shallow ruts and loose gravel, which adds some difficulty, but is still manageable by most riders. Expect huge rollers over waterbars, so keep your speed in check. As you progress, the trail gets slightly more technical with loose rock patches, off-camber sections, and a few sharper corners. The trail is lined tightly with trees, and there's a shelfy traverse down the hillside. Occasional embedded rock surfaces and roots add spice, along with the chance of downed limbs--some to hop over, some to duck. Spring brings muddy ruts and puddles, especially on the loop's northern side. It's a dynamic trail that keeps it interesting the entire route.

Difficulty
This is one of the harder trails in the system because it has more embedded rock and roots, as well as steep sections, but overall remains easy and manageable for most any skill level.
