Old Spring Box Loop

Trail Overview

This is a smooth and fun ATV loop that makes a great start to any ride in the Houston Valley ORV Area. The trail surface is mostly packed dirt, with gravel and small rocks pushed off to the sides, leaving a clean path for fast riding. It rolls along the hillside with a series of dips, shallow ruts, and mellow rollers. The trail is dug out a foot below the forest floor, and a few sharp corners keep things interesting. The west end connects to Plantation Ridge Loop, and the east ties into the North Loop. It passes through a beautiful, unique forest with a mossy floor and a mix of southern pine.
