Trail Overview
This is a Forest Service Road "High Clearance" 4WD trail that is an out-and-back, ending at the trailhead for Slide Lake. There are no technical sections on this trail, but it is very rocky. Only a couple of dispersed campsites were observed on the trail. The latter half of the trail contains some glimpses of the mountains on the other side of the valley. The hike to Slide Lake from the dead end is an easy half-mile hike.
