Trail Overview
A gorgeous drive through part of the Roosevelt National Forest for those who want to see some scenic landscape in a 2WD. This track of the road is maintained but you should still use caution in spring and winter where the roads can become muddy, and snow-covered. This road gives access to the Colorado State Cherokee Parks Hunting units. Cell service is good for the most part but poor in a few areas of the track. The road contains some potholes and washboards but nothing that would require 4WD. There are a few small rest areas with vault bathrooms along this track as well but no gas stations/grocery stores.

Difficulty
Use caution in spring during heavy rainfall and winter during heavy snowfall. Resident houses/ranches on this road are far and few between.
