Trail Overview
An easier and shorter alternative to the section of Snyder Creek Loop to the North/North West. This track has one brief challenging section at the southwest end with roots and rocks amidst steeper switchbacks. After that, the trail is heavily switch-backed, with the occasional root or rock to hop over. Solid clutch work and a good first gear will help you a lot here. Overall, a good option for a newer rider looking for a quick challenge. The track is well maintained by volunteers, but there is obvious potential for newly fallen trees the whole way. Note the hundreds, if not thousands, of logs that have been cut and cleared over the years. Along the midpoint, make sure you pause to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains to the east.
