Trail Overview
Outback is a fun trail off of Powerline Road, with lots of easy fast, and flowy sections through sagebrush, but with several moderate rock obstacles. The west end starts out in the flat sagebrush desert terrain, with some embedded rock slabs. It's a really wide trail for part of it with a bunch of loose rocks. It has tight turns and some bigger embedded boulders within the trail that you can pick your way through. There is a neat section of trail that squeezes between a tree and a rock ledge, followed by a couple of medium-sized drop-offs. You'll find several moderate rock ledges throughout the trail that are about a foot high. It also goes up long sections of flat slab rock that are ramped and easy. The east end is very fast and straight through the sagebrush again. This trail is closed from March 15 - May 15 for sage grouse conservation.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate trail as it has several moderate rock ledge obstacles throughout the short distance. They are not overly difficult as they are a couple of feet tall or less, usually ramped, and with great traction.
