Trail Overview
Jacks is a short connector trail in Hartman Rocks but has lots of moderate rock features. The bottom of the trail starts off of Tug, off of Kill Hill Road, and it gains some elevation as it winds up the rocky mountainside and ends back on Kill Hill Road. There's a slatted metal pinch point at the top, across from a small parking area. Throughout the short trail, you'll find ramped rock slabs, ledges that are about a foot tall, a series of small step-ups, and a long section of slab rock. The surface is a mix of dirt and pea gravel, which makes it slippery in spots. There are lots of twisty turns and steeper spots. It's also a bit rutted at the bottom. Watch out for mountain bikers and other trail users, this trail is very close to the main staging area, and you will likely see other riders.

Difficulty
Jacks is a 4 difficulty because there are several rock features within the half-mile distance, making it pretty technical. The rock features require some skill to get up the ledges and steep rock features.
