Trail Overview

This is a short, relatively easy out and back trail located near Red Feathers Lakes. The trail has a gradual climb over some loose dirt and baby heads. The trail is one way, but has multiple spots to pull off if you run into traffic. The trail is somewhat rutted but can be handled by a Subaru. There are plenty of awesome dispersed campsites along this trail that would be great for tent or truck camping. Several tight turns would make a trailer a little difficult, but manageable. There is a Y in the trail. The main trail keeps the same elevation and runs down across a small water crossing and ends at a campsite. The second leg of the Y cuts back to the southeast, climbs in elevation over loose baby heads and leads to another great camp site.

Lots of good camping spots. I showed up to late and they were all taken, get here early if you plan to camp.
