This short trail is a single vehicle-width bypass off Peckinpah Road on the slope of Peckinpah Mountain. The surface is primarily dirt with embedded rocks and a short rocky ledge section. There can be shallow ruts and tight vegetation along the route. The trail can be traveled in either direction, but it will be a bit more challenging going uphill. Restrooms are available about 1 mile away, farther up on Peckinpah Road. Tread Lightly and Pack-It-Out.

Difficulty

Trail surface is primarily dirt with small embedded rocks and occasional shallow ruts. There is also a short section with a rocky ledge. Depending on the season and weather, this trail may be muddy and slippery. Moderate clearance height is recommended to manage the trail easily, and 4WD will be necessary during wet/muddy conditions.
