Campfire Lookout

Trail Overview

This fun little lookout section sits at the base of a large camp area with a big fire pit and makes for a great quick detour off the main trail. You'll hop over a small wash before tackling a pretty technical uphill climb that leads to a cool viewpoint overlooking the surrounding trail system. It's a short section but packs in a lot of character. After soaking in the views, you can either head back the way you came or take the lightly used single track down, which adds a fun, flowy exit back to the main trail.

Difficulty

Difficulty level is pretty high. The initial climb is tricky and will definitely get your heart rate up, and the single track on the way down can be a little technical as well.
