Parker Canyon is a rugged off-road trail characterized by rocky and bumpy terrain, though it remains mostly level throughout. The trail initially runs alongside a fence line before opening up to stunning panoramic views of the rolling hills surrounding Parker Canyon Lake. This route can be driven as a loop, but travelers should be aware of a particularly steep and loose rock climb that leads out of the wash. This section connects to the Po Ranch, where private property signs mark a no-trespassing area.Starting from Parker Canyon Lake, the trail provides an enjoyable drive through scenic backcountry. The nearby marina store offers basic supplies and propane refills, and the staff may have useful insights about other trails in the region. Wildlife is abundant in the area, with black bears and coyotes frequently spotted along the route.
