Compared to the other trails surrounding Forest Service Road 9247H, this trail is relatively short and easygoing. As you start this trail, there is a gate you must open and close. From there, the trail travels slightly downhill and follows a small rut that follows the east side of the road. There are some small loose rock sections on this trail but nothing to worry about. You will travel through an open meadow with scattered junipers and pine trees. Shortly after this meadow, the trail will end at Tin Roof Tank.
