Trail Overview
31 Far South sadly doesn't connect with its continuation up the canyon wall to the north. The canyon has turned into a practical "no man's land" with no way to get up or down to make the connection. The trail does transition into open plains with a rocky, one-lane path. The terrain is varied but manageable, making for an interesting drive. As the route heads south, camping opportunities become more frequent, with several spots to settle in for the night. However, the trail does not continue beyond its final point bordered by another canyon that is well marked stating the route does not continue. Full LTE service is available throughout, making it one of the more connected backcountry routes.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail, with no major obstacles. While not exactly "smooth" - there are rocks lining the trail - it is accessible with the standard erosion and water damage that is common in a landscape such as this. There is full LTE but it's advised to have offline maps downloaded.
