Trail Overview
Winding Creosote is a mellow trail, that has no major obstacles on it. Throughout the trail, you might encounter mild erosion and water damage, but it's nothing more than a cause to slow down. It generally stays one lane or wider throughout the entire trail. This provides plenty of room to pass and/or turn around if need be. Remember, if you must leave the trail, to TREAD LIGHTLY as desert environments are fragile and prone to lasting damage. There is a wash section on this trail, but the entrances and exits are not steep and the surface is packed, not deep soft sand that is indicative of the wash runs through the deserts of Arizona. There is little to no cell service out here, so offline maps are recommended.
