Trail Overview

The Northview Trail begins at a historic mine scrape, offering a glimpse into the area's mining past. As you progress, you'll pass through tailings left behind from mining activities, adding a unique historical touch to your ride. The trail is lined with cacti, creating a quintessential desert landscape. It's narrow in places, requiring careful navigation, and includes several wash crossings that provide a bit of challenge, especially after rains. Expect some erosion in certain areas, giving the trail a more rugged feel. This trail combines history, desert beauty, and adventure for an off-roading experience.

This is an unmaintained one - lane trail with the potential to become worse toward the south, closer to the mountains. The erosion may become exacerbated over time as this area is continually shaped by monsoon rains and wind.
