The wildlife in this area is vibrant; during your journey, you might be lucky enough to spot a desert fox, some quail, or even a javelina! The trail also leads you into a beautiful forest of cholla cacti, enhancing the scenic beauty of your surroundings as you traverse through this unique habitat. However, be mindful that M0787 does not offer options for dispersed camping, and its narrow width can make it challenging for larger vehicles--particularly when it comes to passing oncoming traffic. With the bushes close to the trail's edge, you may need to exercise caution to avoid minor scratches.
