Trail Overview
Trail Ss1104 begins off Ss1106 and runs point-to-point, eventually reconnecting near Hot Springs Road. This route crosses sections of sand dunes and multiple washes, offering expansive views of Javelina Peak and the dramatic, wind-eroded dune walls. Expect frequent wash crossings and several washouts along the trail. There is one notable obstacle that requires high clearance; a bypass is available for those who prefer an alternate line. Careful tire placement is recommended in this section. After clearing the obstacle, you'll encounter a short, steep hill climb that brings you back into open desert terrain. At this point, the route narrows, but remains wide enough for a 4WD high clearance and continues across sandy desert flats. Pinstripes are possible in some narrower sections. Eventually, the trail transitions into a clearer two-track that leads all the way through to Hot Springs Road.
