Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 620E is just over 3 miles long. The trail starts off as a dirt trail with scattered loose rocks on the surface as you traverse down a small side hill. As this side hill opens up, you get a very nice panoramic view of the surrounding area to the South. The trail continues and turns to a primarily dirt surface with rock gardens occasionally peppering the trail's surface. There will be a fence gate you must open and close. After passing this gate, the trail gets steadily more rockier. After you pass Trail Tank, the trail will continue to get rougher with larger rock gardens around every turn. Many of these rocks have evidence of undercarriages bashing them so remember to keep your eyes on the trail. The trail ends at the foot of Hog Hill where the trail becomes more grassier and less rocky.
