FS 6033

Trail Overview

This rocky two-track heads out toward the edge of the rim, starting with sections of exposed rock in the road that are manageable but uneven. About half a mile in, the trail becomes much rockier with larger rocks protruding from the surface, making high clearance necessary. There are a few small ledges along the way and some tighter tree sections that may feel narrow for larger vehicles. Numerous dispersed camp spots line the route, with the trail ending at a large camp area in the forest without a direct view over the rim.

This trail is rated 3/10 due to the sustained rocky surface, protruding rocks, and occasional ledges that require careful tire placement. While not overly technical, high clearance is recommended, and drivers should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain.
