Trail Overview

This wide, graded sand and gravel road goes in and out of a dry wash as it navigates toward the mountains. The route takes you through areas with lots of seasonal wildflowers that add vibrant color to the landscape when in bloom. The trail leads to the base of the Trigo Mountains, bringing you closer to the dramatic peaks. The wide, graded surface makes for comfortable navigation and easy passing, while the wash crossings add variety to the terrain and create natural drainage patterns you'll encounter along the way.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail with excellent surface conditions on the wide, graded sand and gravel road. The wash crossings going in and out are straightforward and don't present technical challenges. The wide width provides plenty of room for navigation. Suitable for most vehicles seeking access to the base of the Trigo Mountains.
